We are looking for a Telecom Engineer for a telecom service provide in Huddersfield on perm basis. In this role, you’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between telecommunication, IT infrastructure and clients’ success. You’ll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of installations of Telcom and IT systems in commercial premises: from initial site assessment to ongoing maintenance and user support.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Possesses field installations experience involving maintenance, particularly with Avaya IP Office, 8×8, 3CX, and MS Teams systems in commercial premises.
• Has experience with Cat 5E/6 cabling termination and installation.
• Possesses experience with juggling switches, firewalls, Windows servers.
• Can expertly configure and commission VoIP phone systems.
• Thrives in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Moves and changes within PABX systems
• Has basic networking principles.
• Enjoys providing clear and concise training to users.
• Maintains excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Is detail-oriented and produces accurate reports.
• Has previous engineering experience

Desirable:

Experience using Dynamics 365

Familiarity with legacy systems like Panasonic, NEC, and Alcatel
