S/4 HANA Lead ConsultantSalary: Up to £110,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLocation: Coventry – Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)Working Hours: 40 hours per week – Full timeJob Type: PermanentA globally established organisation is seeking an experienced S/4 HANA Lead Consultant to support large-scale SAP transformation initiatives within a major retail environment.

This is a senior leadership role focused on shaping enterprise SAP architectures, driving solution strategy and supporting complex S/4HANA transformation programmes. The role is suited to a senior SAP professional with strong consulting capability, deep SAP SD expertise and experience delivering enterprise-scale retail transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities for the S/4 HANA Lead Consultant:

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution design and delivery across major transformation programmes
• Facilitate requirements gathering, scoping workshops and solution design sessions with senior stakeholders
• Define scalable, secure and resilient SAP architectures aligned to business objectives
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across SAP engineering and delivery teams
• Drive SAP best practice, delivery standards and modern engineering approaches
• Support programme governance, solution roadmaps and architecture reviews
• Collaborate with business, product and technical teams across large-scale retail initiatives
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation lifecycle

Essential Skills for the S/4 HANA Lead Consultant:

• Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes
• Proven background as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant within enterprise SAP environments
• SAP S/4HANA SD Certification
• Strong retail industry experience
• Deep expertise across: Sales & Distribution, Pricing, Billing, Master Data, Taxes, Account Posting & Sales Documents
• Strong understanding of: Supply Chain, Logistics Execution, Procurement, Inventory Management & Invoice Processing
• Experience across requirements gathering, solution design, testing and delivery lifecycles
• Hands-on experience configuring SD master data and pricing procedures
• Knowledge of output determination and batch management
• Strong understanding of scalable architectures and modern engineering principles

Desirable Skills for the S/4 HANA Lead Consultant:

• Experience delivering multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations within consulting or systems integrator environments
• Experience supporting greenfield SAP transformation projects
• Experience supporting migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Experience within large-scale commercial retail transformation programmes
• Knowledge of performance engineering and resilience-focused design patterns
