Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager

Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: 70,000 – 85,000 + Bonus + Travel Expenses Covered + Healthcare + Pension & more!

The Company

Our client is a growing and ambitious Building Services contractor delivering Mechanical solutions across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects throughout London and the Home Counties. With a current turnover around 10m and over 15 people in the business, they work across a range of high-quality CAT A and CAT B fit-out schemes.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing team and play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects.

Reporting directly into senior management, you will be responsible for managing the mechanical pre-construction process from tender stage through to project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical pre-construction activities from tender through to handover.
• Reviewing technical specifications, drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams.
• Supporting estimating, procurement and value engineering activities.
• Managing design development and ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Identifying project risks, opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Supporting successful project delivery across multiple schemes simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within Mechanical Building Services.
• Strong background within Design & Build commercial fit-out projects (CAT A / CAT B) would be ideal.
• Experience delivering projects across London and the Home Counties.
• Knowledge of Mechanical and Public Health systems.
• Strong understanding of current Building Regulations and industry standards.
• Design experience or design coordination knowledge advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Client-facing and commercially aware approach.
