Our client BAE Systems, a key player in the defence and security sector, is currently looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join their Electronic Systems Business Unit. This contract role is based in Rochester with hybrid arrangements involving four days per week on-site, offering an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects for a duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrating software systems within the defence and security sectors
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Conducting tests to validate the integration and functionality of software systems
• Identifying and troubleshooting integration issues
• Preparing detailed technical documentation and integration reports
• Ensuring compliance with security protocols and standards
• Working under BPSS security level with potential nationality restrictions

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in software integration
• Strong knowledge of integration principles and methodologies
• Experience within the defence and security sectors
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
