My client is a successful property organisation based in Birmingham city centre looking for a 1st line IT Support Engineer.

Description

Provide first-line IT support to users, responding to queries and troubleshooting issues.
Log and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where necessary.
Set up and configure hardware, software and user accounts.
Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
Support colleagues with technical guidance and advice.
Document processes and update technical manuals as needed.
Collaborate with the wider IT team to improve systems and processes.

Profile

A successful 1st Line IT Support Engineer should have:

Previous experience in an IT support role.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with setting up and maintaining hardware and software systems.
Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity principles.
Excellent communication skills to assist users effectively.
Organised and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
Can commute to Birmingham City Centre
