We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, tooling, and materials handling. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality output that meets specifications.

Duties

• Operate CNC SCM machines.
• Set Up and Operating the CNC
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks to understand part requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Assemble parts as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols throughout the process.
• Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for effective materials handling and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Proficient in operating CNC machinery, particularly milling machines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with tooling setup and adjustment, including knowledge of various cutting tools.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for interpreting designs.
• Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently within a warehouse environment.
• Competence in welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Understanding of logic controllers is beneficial for machine operation optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
