Sustainability Engineer – NDEA

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established building services consultancy in the South Coast who provide a holistic approach to the built environment. They are looking for an NDEA qualified Sustainability engineer who can hit the ground running with a range of non-domestic projects they have taken on.

Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Engineer include:

• Carry out site visits to undertake EPC surveys and produce EPCs for existing buildings
• Undertake Part L analysis for design stages of projects
• Produce sustainability statements and Low or Zero Carbon feasibility reports for design stages of non-domestic projects
• Use IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments and daylight studies
• Work alongside the building services team on projects as well as mentoring more junior members of staff

The ideal Sustainability Engineer will have:

• A level 3 or 4 NDEA qualification
• Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out Dynamic Simulation Modelling
• Relevant experience within a sustainability or energy role within the built environment industry
• Experience delivering BREEAM or LCA’s would be advantageous
• Excellent Communication skills and strong attention to detail
