Our client in Burnley, a leading engineering supplier to the aerospace sector, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Press Brake Operator/Setter/Programmer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in crafting components that will soar to new heights!

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for operating, setting up, and potentially programming a sophisticated Amada HRB CNC Press Brake. You’ll work with a variety of metal sheets and shapes to create precise bends according to exacting specifications. Your skills will contribute directly to the success of critical aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, set up, and potentially program an Amada HRB CNC Press Brake.
• Interpret and follow complex engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure precise bending of metal sheets and components according to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and workmanship.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the press brake to keep it functioning optimally.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator/Setter/Programmer (experience with Amada HRB a plus).
• Strong understanding of metal bending processes and press brake operation principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in basic machining and metalworking principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
