SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Division are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work for our client based in Keighley on a permanent basis.

Must have Electrical and Mechanical Experience

Role Duties & Responsibilities:

• To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators, chillers and bottling machinery
• Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine down time to a minimum
• Electrical repairs to motors, drivers, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring,
• switches, relays, contractors, sensors
• PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults- Recording and
• commissioning all fault findings
• Assisting with projects and the installation of the new plant- Communicating
• effectively with the engineering manager
• Assisting the developing and implementing line improvements, new
• installations, office repairs
• Planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the
• engineering manager
• Must be prepared to work across two sites in Keighley and Grassington

Essential Experience Required

• Relevant Apprentice training or relevant qualifications
• Electronics/ PLC
• Pneumatics
• Mechanical engineering
• Mig Tig welding
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Fault finding and maintenance experience
• Experience in the food and drinks manufacturing industry

Core hours of 48 hours per week, based around 5 days per week, Monday – Saturday.

Salary: 55,000- 60,000 Dependent on experience
