Hourly rate:
£13.50-£16.00
Hours of work:
7.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday
Available overtime at an enhanced rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate good safety behaviours in the workplace; ensure all rules / standards and procedures are adhered to at all times; wear correct personal protective equipment.
Fabricate a range of assembly types to specification, working from fabrication or engineering drawings
Produce high quality parts in high variety and volume in a target-driven environment
Carry out fabrication inspections, identify defects and take appropriate action to rectify them
Meet production targets while maximising efficiency
Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement ideas
To perform the job in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required to ensure successful delivery of all ongoing works within the company workstream
Essential:
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and measuring tools
Demonstrate basic understanding of fabrication and use of jigs
2+ years relevant experience
Experience of working on own initiative and acting to resolve any issues impacting upon performance
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Willing to work overtime if required
