Programme Essentials

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

• Currently be studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or graduating in Summer 2024
• Looking for work experience after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
• Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 1st July 2024- Friday 18th July 2025
• We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 1 Internship role to ensure that you are considered for the Internship that you are most interested in and that your skills are aligned to

What will I be doing?

As a Media Technology intern, you will work together with an established, talented, and experienced Media Technology team using Agile Methodologies to help provide sprint metrics and support in other scrum master tasks.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

You will gain experience in agile Media Technology methodologies helping the team to measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness in scalable applications and the importance of testing and security. You will also learn about sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings. You will learn the importance of monitoring sprint tasks and helping the teams to get them delivered on time.

What do I need to bring to the role?

1. You are an aspiring software engineer who cares about helping the team building maintainable, readable, testable software that solves real user problems
2. You enjoy getting your hands dirty in providing metrics and supporting the team deliver large software systems
3. You are resourceful self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
